The kind of work that leaves our floor

A representative selection of the fabrication we take on across industries.

Our Work

Representative fabrication projects

Every job is built to a specific duty, so no two are identical. These describe the kinds of work we regularly deliver.

Large Vessel Dispatched by Road
Heavy Fabrication

Large Vessel Dispatched by Road

A large-diameter vessel with external stiffener ribs, shop-primed and loaded onto a low-bed trailer for delivery to site — the upper end of what our floor and our transport arrangements can handle.

Pressure Vessel Under Fabrication
General Engineering

Pressure Vessel Under Fabrication

A dished-end pressure vessel shell in red oxide primer, nozzles set and welded, photographed on the shop floor before testing and final finishing.

Pressurised Vessel Batch
General Engineering

Pressurised Vessel Batch

Horizontal pressurised vessels fabricated in stainless steel, mounted on saddles with nozzles, manway and drain connections, hydro-tested before dispatch.

Solar Water Heater Tanks

Stainless steel solar water heater tanks produced as a repeat batch, insulated and matched to flat plate collectors as complete systems.

A note on this page. The photographs are of our own work. The entries describe the categories of job we deliver rather than named client projects — we do not publish a customer’s details without their permission. If you would like references for work similar to your enquiry, ask us and we will arrange them directly.

How We Work

From enquiry to dispatch

Every job follows the same eight stages. You know where your order is at any point, and nothing moves to the next stage until the previous one checks out.

  1. 01

    Enquiry & Requirement Study

You share the duty, capacity and site conditions. We ask the questions that matter before quoting.

  2. 02

    Design & Drawing

General arrangement and fabrication drawings prepared and approved by you before any steel is cut.

  3. 03

    Material Procurement

Plate, pipe and sections sourced with mill test certificates traceable to the finished job.

  4. 04

    Cutting & Rolling

Profile cutting, shearing and plate rolling to form shells, dished ends and structural members.

  5. 05

    Welding & Assembly

SMAW, GTAW and GMAW welding by qualified welders, with fit-up checked at every stage.

  6. 06

    Testing & Inspection

Hydro testing, dye-penetrant testing and dimensional inspection, with third-party witness on request.

  7. 07

    Surface Treatment

Shot blasting, priming, painting or powder coating specified for your service environment.

  8. 08

    Dispatch & Support

Packed and dispatched by road with test certificates and drawings, plus installation support.
